Pikes Peak Region

The Pikes Peak region is composed of El Paso, Park and Teller counties and is home to the second largest city in the state, Colorado Springs – Olympic City USA. The breathtaking scenery, more than 35 Fortune 500 companies, five military installations, acres of state parks and wildlife areas, national forests, working ranches and historic mining districts offers incredible diversity and make the Pikes Peak region the heart of Southern Colorado. Nestled at the foothills and in the midst of the iconic Rocky Mountains, the region strives to be a leader by providing a business-friendly environment in their communities while maintaining an extraordinary quality of life for residents and visitors alike. Concentrated efforts on maintaining and growing a highly educated workforce with the support of top-ranked educational institutions in the area, a continued focus on strengthening key transportation corridors including enhanced air travel for the region, the establishment of additional innovation centers, and even greater promotion of the abundant outdoor recreation opportunities will further elevate this region to be one of the richest business climates in the state.
